Treasure's marvelous run-and-gun is as much a homage to classic Sega games of old as it is a revisit of the Mega Drive original. Yes there are obvious concessions (the licensed soundtracks are short instrumental renditions) and yes the dinky visuals can strain the eyes at times, but that doesn't detract at all from the excellent pickup and play gameplay which is just as addictive here as it was on the bigger home console versions. Granted, the GBA was a bit hampered by not as many series existing/having handheld entries at the time (Animal Crossing, Smash, and Splatoon really bolsters the Switch's lineup), but even its predecessor fared better. Vicarious Visions managed to distil the essence of the full-sized Tony Hawk titles into an incredible isometric version that feels tight, responsive and very much not the obligatory downgraded handheld port you might have expected. The masterstroke of The Minish Cap however is Link's new ability to shrink down in size, which greatly improves the puzzle aspects of the series because you need to flip back and forth between forms to find new routes and solve various tasks. The Sims 2 for Nintendo Game Boy Advance takes place in Strangetown, and shares a similar GUI and gameplay to its predecessors (The Sims Bustin' Out and The Urbz: Sims in the City). Its utterly bonkers, but the tightly crafted controls and excellent tunes will cause your feet to tap as much as your fingers. @BulbasaurusRex Pokemon I just forgot, I apologize for that one. That the format remains endearing is testament to the developer's gripping, yet savage design. The best game for me on the gba that is missing is the brilliant guru logi champ.. easily the best puzzle game ever.. Really? I didn't use it much as I could see the GBA screen pretty well and didn't like the reflection. I love it and I've seen prices climbing pretty fast in the past year. I think the first Mario Advance is the best Mario Advance game. There are sooo many awesome gameboy games. All roms & isos are already pre-patched. I'll need to do some soul searching, but it's quite possibly my favorite Metroid title. @FullMetalWesker Those are the only two things that are really different in "Metroid Fusion," though. Beyond that, they're IPs that are highly popular whereas most of the IPs you mentioned were fairly niche and most of the big IPs on GBA relied on remakes. Before BG, party members were simply additional pairs of hands to help you out in your quests. Not sure why but I'm itching for something like this.

While the outrageously funny story will hold your attention, its the finely crafted combat mechanics that make AlphaDreams adventure so much fun to play.
