My Tesla was the third install at Safe and Sound in Chantilly, VA and I must say Matt Schaeffer has knocked it out of the park again. The tone changes a little, but more importantly it removes a volume limit set by the diodes (LEDs) when it goes into distortion so that the amp plays a bit louder with a clean tone. Bought the Vox out of contempt for high prices.
Just plug your headphones into the headphone/line-out jack and away you go - your sleeping neighbors won't hear a thing because using this jack automatically mutes the amp's speaker!

Theres not a lot in the Pathfinder 10 to shape your sound just treble/bass controls and a gain knob. Had to buy a new one because it was all there was online at the time. Button. Are we done. I just spent an afternoon and made a new baffle for my Pathfinder. It's a pretty popular speaker and some very reliable folks have determined that it is actually an Eminence Legend 1028K with a blue frame, which is a 35-watt speaker with a Kapton voice coil.
It has an on-board filter network that tailors the frequency response to give the full bodied mids of the real Deacy but without the HF 'fizz' that seems to dominate most 6.5" twin-cone drivers. Reverb Bump. I realize part of that difference may result from the Cambridge's tube preamp, but the amps were much closer in tone and output before I upgraded to the 10" speaker.

BRL I had to remove the bell cover on the Weber. Otherwise you will damage the loudspeaker and render this old amplifier almost worthless.

With either of these the clean tones take on a nice alnico shimmer and the dirty tones sound like a very very good distortion pedal.

If I can get that tweaked, I'll gig my Cambridge 15 at our next gig (July 7). Window Tinting. Its generally safe to do it the other way, ie, 8 ohm amp into 16 ohm cab. When searching for mods of the amp the bencraven site seems to have some information, the diystompboxes and music-electronics-forum forums for some more (pathfinder 15).
It is an easy mod, but you first want to check the depth of the speaker and diameter of the magnet do not foul the chassis.
Forget modding the amp, even if you double the power output it will only give you a 3dB increase in loudness.
